About
Welcome to Marguerite
I’m a lifelong curious traveler, fly fisherwoman, rustic cook, and a woman who believes that beauty, generosity, and small gestures can transform the everyday.
In 2023, I opened Marguerite Walla Walla—a carefully curated shop that reflects my sensibilities: elegant but never fussy, grounded in quality, and devoted to the pleasures of living well. From a multitude of pasta shapes and French linens to small-batch pantry goods, soulful ceramics from around the globe, and perfumes that whisper stories—every shelf holds a conversation. Marguerite is part store, part sanctuary, and part creative experiment.
Before Marguerite, I spent years in retail, print production, software startups, and residential real estate. No matter the field, hospitality has always been at the center of my work. I’m happiest with a full house of friends or family to cook for, and I treasure long hours spent around the dining table.
I live in Walla Walla, Washington—a town full of light, wine, and kind people. It’s both my anchor and my launchpad. I travel often—sometimes for work, always for inspiration. Paris is my heart city. I’ve found my favorite hotel in the south of France, and my favorite scent in a quiet boutique in the Marais.
At home, I share life with a loyal and opinionated dog who joins me on long drives and even longer walks. I value honesty, softness, and slowness. I love a good playlist, a well-aged bottle of red, and handwriting on real stationery. I believe in starting over as many times as it takes. And I believe there’s always a way to make something—or someone—feel seen.
If you’ve found your way here, thank you. I hope you’ll stop by Marguerite sometime. Or drop a note. Or tell me what you’re cooking, reading, or dreaming about. Life’s too short not to connect—and far too beautiful not to make a little magic where we can.
XO
Peggy
